More New Items Are Here from Punkin Butt!

We are excited to be welcoming the Punkin Butt Pocket Patch Inserts in Medium to our stash!  We received our Punkin Butt Shipment & much more to come...

The greatest thing about the Punkin Butt Pocket Patch Inserts is that they can fit in most pocket and AIO diapers as well as be laid inside a fitted diaper or flat/prefold for extra absorbency.  These inserts are one of the best nighttime solution when used as a doubler.

To prep your Punkin Butt Pocket Patch Insert simply wash it 3-6 times in the hottest setting like your usual cloth diaper wash - separate from microfiber inserts.  (As the natural oils from the Hemp may transfer to them and cause repelling upon initial washing).  Once the oils are gone your Punkin Butt Pocket Patch Inserts are super absorbent & ready for use!

Another Item We'd like to welcome is the Punkin Butt Wipes Spray 1oz!  It is a perfect fit for moms purse, diaper bag, wet bag, or even your pocket!

We also have more MotherEarth Baby Bottom Better - a great solution for those sore little bumz rashes and preventing diaper rash.

One for baby, mom & family - a great solution for flu's, cold's, muscle aches & pains and much more!  It's the Rosemary Respiratory Rub!

And the second is for the pregnant mommy called Belly Blossom - This amazing product takes the itch away, calms stretch marks, & it's scent is designed to even relieve feelings of nausea!

More items to come!  Happy Shopping :)

Happy Black Friday! It's here!

HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY!

The Laundry Tarts Spot Removing Stick!

Seeing as I already enjoy using The Laundry Tarts products - pail fresheners & Cloth Diaper Safe Detergent, we decided to try their spot removing stick on more than just cloth diapers... and here were our results!

We recently inherited a lovely beige couch set, and the armchair we have had a nasty grease spot on it's arm.  So... what perfect place to try the spot remover than on a spot!

The three things we used to remove this spot:
1. Water (just enough to wet the rag/towel you will be using as well as the stick itself).
2. The Spot Removing Stick from The Laundry Tarts.
3. An old Rag, towel, or something you use to clean with.

Here is the stain...
we rubbed it into the stain several times... (Got my Brian from Nature Bumz Co. to do this)
Then taking a rag (one that can get dirty - you will see later) rub the stain with a damp end of it...
As you can see - the stain has now transferred to the rag and....
You can see the stain is gone!

By far a great choice to remove stains safe and naturally!  As you can see below the before and after pics:

Cloth Diaper Pail Etiquette...

Cloth Diaper Pail Stinkies happen!
By following a few of these simple rules you can prevent those nasty ammonia aroma's lingering in your house & make your cloth diapering experience easy and fun.
Rule #1:  Be sure to have 2 or more pail liners on hand!  One for when you are doing your cloth diaper wash and the other for using them in your cloth diaper pail.

Rule #2: Having 2 Cloth Diaper Pails in your home (one in your baby's room and the other wherever else you change the baby more frequently) can limit the amount of cloth diapers in your diaper pail at one time - thus preventing more odour.  Be sure to throw your diaper pail in with your cloth diaper wash and hang it to dry.  *Hint*:  You can purchase a large garbage can at most department stores - invest in one with a step down lid.
If you have the money to invest in a good diaper pail, purchase one with a carbon filter which is a natural way to remove odour in your diaper pail.  These filters should be replaced between 3-4 months but also help in removing your cloth diaper pail odour naturally!

Rule #3:   Invest in a yummy smelling natural/organic pail freshener!  As industrial / commercial sprays and fresheners may cause rashes on your babies bottom, a natural freshener will keep your pail smelling clean & fresh without damaging your cloth diapers / baby's bumz.

Rule #4:   As you finish changing your baby, fold all velcro tabs on the cloth diaper over and pull out the inserts from the cloth diaper before throwing them into your diaper pail!  This will allow you to simply dump your cloth diapers into the wash with ease! (If you are potty training one child and diapering another child, don't be afraid to throw your trainers in with your cloth diapers).

Rule #5:  Try not to over fill your diaper pail, when it comes time to launder your diapers the last thing you want is wet diapers pressed up against your clothing.  It will also help with the smell.

Rule#6:  Every 2 weeks you should clean your diaper pail with a natural cleaner to kill all bacteria that may get in places you don't always know of.  This helps keep your pail clean/fresh and prevent bacteria from building up in your cloth diaper pail.
More Rules coming soon...  Happy Cloth Diapering!

One of my favourite Laundry Tarts Product - Pail Fresheners!

I want to share a popular pail freshener from The Laundry Tarts!  My favourite scent is Pina Colada.. but The Tart Ladies have a lovely collection of scents!  These pail fresheners are not only great for your stinky diaper pails, but they are also perfect for freshening up your carpets!

Here is half the carpet vacuumed with a generous amount of The Laundry Tarts Pail Freshener shaken on top!
Simply Shake the Pail freshener over your carpet...

And now you have a room filled with the delightful scent of whichever Laundry Tarts Pail Freshener scent you have!  (This also works with the detergent as we have used it also.. if you don't have the freshener just yet - but the freshener is far more fragrant!)
